* The Elessari Continent gets it's name from a girl that I babysat when I was fifteen. Her name was Elessari Arnold and she was the same one who got me hooked on Sailor Moon.
* Olympia and Sylvia were inspired by several different things, in fact they were the name of countries in my 'great chronotrigger/FF6 fanfiction'. The one where I inserted alot of ocs (not Mary Sues... well okay so perhaps at fifteen they -were- mary sues, but you know what.. so what.. I still loved them.) Olympia was a country that I had patterned on greek mythology, and Sylvia was my representation of fairyland. Olympia existed LONG before Sylvia though, as Sylvia only came into existance with Corrine Graie who I paired with Magus. Olympia gave birth to such characters as Violetta Durante, Troy Kirkland and Trista Levin, all of who found eventual homes in Sylvia. So did Corrine "Corrie" Graie. Though for the most part, their characterizations changed and evolved once they seperated from their bit of fanfiction.
* Magus Bainbridge shares his birthday with my grandmother. March 9th, which is a special day for me. She was very much a Magus person.
* Also Magus was my first attempt at playing a non-bad male character. (Troy Kirkland was my first male.. he was.. interesting). I wanted to see if I could do it, and eventually everyone just fell in love with him and so I kept him around and his story wrote itself.
* Cedric shares my birthday, because I identify with Cedric the most strongly. Certainly I love all my male characters, but Cedric holds a vast ammount of charm to me.
* Bainbridges and their kooky gender changing ways. Well if you placed a gender switched Bainbridge in the same room with one Zeal, one human and one Bainbridge, both the Zeal and human would be like "Oh hi!" but the Bainbridge would know exactly -who- that Bainbridge is. Because all Bainbridges have a particular signature that tells exactly -who- they are that is only readable to other Bainbridges. Which is probably why when a Bainbridge sees Schala in her male form, they think "Schala!" while Janus just thinks "Pretty!" (Zeals are kinda dumb.. really they are) If they did not have that particular signature cloaking from everyone else, they would never be able to hide from Zeals.
* Why yes, Vampires -do- exist in Sylvia. And we have the Ethos whacked out genetic experimentation to thank for that. (Thank you Enigma!). You do not catch them far north, but once you get to Millenia City and Trinity, you -will- find them.
* Magus has a cat named Dora... except she's not really a cat, anymore. Dora was whacking around one of Magus's expirementation beakers in his laboratory and accidentally got something on herself, the effects was that she's actually a really cute girl with cat mannerisms. She just choose never to turn back into a cat because it was too much fun being a 'person' and she actually takes care of his house when he's away.
* Valdora once had an acadamy of Magic, however once Schala escaped from it and ran off with his brother, Janus. it's own headmaster, torched it in a fit of rage. Many lives of students were lost. Later Janus would commit bigger forms of Genocide (I.E Kyria) but well everyone had to start somewhere. The Valdora Acadamy of Magic was where Schala, Corrine, Kaoru and Violetta went to school, they were all roommates... and they were the four that originally started the story of Sylvia.
* Aidan took Home Ec at Ethos, it is because he said it got him all the dates. One of those things you wouldn't expect him to do, but he can make a MEAN APPLE PIE! And souffles.. that's child play to him.
* Sometimes I am a bit appalled at all the incest that goes on in the Bainbridge and Zeal clans. But to be fair Bainbridges are WAY more interested in outsiders then Zeals are.
* Sylvia has a theme song that isn't a Duran Duran song. It is an instrumental by Depeche Mode entitled "Nothing to Fear"
OKAY I AM DONE FOR RIGHT NOW. THere are more facts out there, but I'm bored right now and so this will just be it.
